Welcome to He Lab at ECU
Our lab specializes in developing mass spectrometry-based proteomics and bioinformatics methods to identify novel protein-protein interactions and nucleic acid-binding proteins, including those that interact with G-quadruplexes, R-loops, modified RNA, and damaged DNA. Using a multi-omics approach that integrates proteomics, genomics, and bioinformatics, our objective is to elucidate the biochemical mechanisms and functional roles of these interactions in both normal and pathological contexts, which will ultimately contribute to the development of effective strategies for cancer therapy.
We are equipped to provide foundational knowledge and experimental platforms for sample preparation, data analysis in proteomics and next-generation sequencing, and biochemical studies of protein-nucleic acid interactions. We welcome opportunities for collaboration and invite you to join us!
